Wow! This is officially the 500th Miss Woolly post. I'd like to thank you all for your great support and comments over the past nearly 2 years. Special thanks to Melinda over at 66 Stitches too. xo
To celebrate I found this prize gem on Etsy. Only US $10. But I'm going to fiddle with some ribbon and make my own to parade around with it for the rest of the day!

Thank You
A big thank you to all the great comments left about teaching. I'm forwarding them on to my Aunt in a second and I think the students will be having a great time with all these projects! x

Vintage Buttons
Sorry I have been a bit quite of late. I have been going about wedding preparations in a bit of a mad panic. Not that I have to panic, I'm just nervous about getting everything ready on time. Not that I really have a ton to do, I'm just getting bride nerves.. But anyway, I was given a lovely box of vintage buttons just recently. Nothing takes your mind off your panic like cute vintage buttons.
I thought I might incorporate them in the wedding favours... somehow...

Teaching Textiles
My Aunt the Quilter has recently been asked to teach years 8 and 9 Textiles and Sewing at the local High School. She's a bit nervous and asked me what I thought she should get them to make. They have 20 weeks to make a series of projects starting with something simple like a pin cushion. What I was wanting to ask you all out there is what you think would be a good project? It has to be something that both girls and boys of about 13 to 15 years of age would like to make. If you can help please leave your answers in the comments section below this post.

T-shirt Quilts
Ladies here is a new way to let your significant other profit from your craftiness... Make a quilt out of his old t-shirts! This quilt belongs to Laurel, I found it whist browsing around. Most quilts I have seen are large blocks like this one and I was thinking that surely something interesting could be done if you cropped into the printed images more... I shall get my Quilting Aunt onto the case..

Topsey - Turvey Dolls
So excited to finally find the pattern for these dolls at my local Op Shop. Now I just need to find a knitter with really good tension (it's something I lack..so far anyway!) to knit me one. Or maybe a whole knitted Christmas Nativity! Jean Greenhowe's website can be found here along with some cute free patterns too.

Futuregirl
Since it's the first week of the month I thought a post on Futuregirl, one of my favourite blogs would be a good thing. Alice makes the most amazing crochet handbags for sale on her site as well as patterns for beautiful little softies. Well worth a look.
