While Eliza was out trawling Melbourne for gorgeous tea cup and saucer sets this weekend. I decided to escape the Melbourne fog and head down the coast for the long weekend. We spent a lovely lazy Sunday visiting friends who have a beautiful property on the Mount Sabine Road just outside of Lorne. After a cup of tea around their open fire we headed down to Qdos for some pizzas and wine. Qdos also, coincidently, had an exibition showing Shan Jensen's textiles 'Kilms & Carpets', which is a collaborative effort between the Melbourne based artsist, Turkish Anatolian master rug makers and a small selection of village weavers. It was such a wonderful way to spend the day.
(these are a couple of friends I made along the way.)
