Wiksten Made

I found Jenny's great blog a while ago one day while following links. Forgetting to bookmark it I lost it and have been kicking myself for quite a while. Then just now whilst doing a search for gingham on Flickr. Voila! Up pops one of Jenny's images and I am reunited!! Hooray!!!!
Jenny makes the most excellent clothing and inspires me to become a better sewer. I think I shall need to practice an hour everyday for quite a while to get my head around sewing. That or a need to take a weekend intensive course somewhere... I would also save a lot of money on clothing. So it'd be all good.
Just make sure you check out Jenny's blog. It's my favorite.
P.S There is a shop too. All handmade by Jenny in limited numbers. Well worth it if you ask me.

Cross stitch pencil case

This is just a lovely example of a cross stitch pencil case that I found floating around Flickr. It's by the talented Anne M and you can look at more of her great workings here. Lovely, lovely photo's.

This is a great quilt top I just found on Ebay. What's even better was the little rant the seller had in the Payment Information section! Quite funny as I get where she is coming from.

Craft City - Melbourne
Make sure you take a peek at Craft City - Melbourne. A great new directory blog to find out about craftiness all over Melbourne. Great idea ladies! Another great find courtesy of the craft ladies is their profile on Lefflers Leather. A local leather emporium I have been meaning to visit for quite some time.

Xenia Taler

I'm a bit of a tile fan from way back. Many years ago I made a series at high school which live with my parents. One day I hope to get a photo of them to show you all - another thing to add to the list!
These Xenia Taler tiles are available online and made by the very talented Xenia Taler and partner Steven Koblinsky. If I had a set I think I would hang them in the kitchen. Or incorporate them in the tile work in the bathroom.. But I also think they would make a lovely baby shower present to hang in a nursery. If so I would purchase this set.

Apologies!
Apologies for being such an absent blogger of late. I have started a new job and it has just been crazy busy. So I think until I get into a better rhythm I'm going to be posting as much as I can on Sundays mainly.x
