Ostheimer Toys
What a beautiful gift for a baby! Or for that matter just anyone you know. Ostheimer is a toy company that has been hand crafting fine wooden toys for more than 50 years. The figures are produced and finished individually in Germany and are made from from high quality native hardwood, maple and elm. What great little future heirlooms!
You can purchase them here or via the Ostheimer website here.
I think I have found something new to collect!

Ziya's School House
As promised here is a photo taken by my lovely husband of the little school house I made for Ziya. I found the pattern via the greatness going on over at Les Chroniques de Frimousse.
In retrospect I could have made the construction a little easier for myself by making it like you would a box instead of individual panels. So lesson learned, I am planning on making many more. Maybe a whole village!

How about this of a super good idea! I am so impressed and it looks so great too. this link comes via Craftzine. It turns out JK got his Mum to cross stitch the Princess onto his new shirt as he's a big on Super Marios Bros!! Kinda geeky but adorable.

Cos I miss you...
Here is a little pic of a new design I did incorporating the worm. I framed it with pieces of card for the photo but I think I'll use it as the base for a sampler and continue stitching above... Thoughts?
