Dolls Clothes
Very cute Laura Normandin dolls clothes available via Rose and Radish. So cute I think they'd make a cute little mobile or wall art. Actually, I think I'd wear them myself if they were any bigger... Make sure you check out more of this great site that I love. Good gift ideas for Christmas.

Repro Depot Sale
Ok. So I'm back on the internet after what was too long a break and one of the first things I'm going to do is buy something from the Repro Depot sale. Maybe some cute Japanese fabric perhaps? or even better....a kit to make this delightful treat!

Still without internet... how frustrating!
I'm hoping this internet access problem we've been having will be fixed in the next few days. Fingers crossed!

Stitching
Just to let you all know that I haven't forgotten you. I'm up in country Victoria altering a few of my sewing projects and having fittings for my wedding dress. As i type I'm designing quilting project blocks for my Aunt who is a quilting teacher. I'll see if I can pop some up on the blog when completed and a few up for sale in the store. It's very hot up here and they are already on fire alerts, but it's still pretty green in the town. If I can find the camera I'll try popping up some photo's as it's really nice up here today.

Missoni Quilt idea.
When I do get the time I'm going to make (or at least start) my first quilt. I'm basing it on this one from Missoni Home. I'm anticipating it should be pretty straight forward if i can just get the colours correct.

Saltwater
Saltwater is a clothing label from the UK that I love. In my perfect fantasy life I would wear just their clothing. I'd also be an artist and dress my imaginary children in their stuff too. In my perfect world the English pound would also be less than the Australian dollar. Alas, I think I'm just going to have to learn how to sew better. I've decided that it's what I'm going to have to do to combat this currency problem. I've just nearly completed a new summer top but the armholes are giving me grief.
After this move I shall find the camera and take some photo's of my funny top and it's progress. It is my (very late) new years resolution to start making my own clothing. So you'll be seeing more of my attempts in future posts. Wish me luck with the house move!

I found another great site.
I just found another great online fabric supplier. This is Sew, Mama, Sew! They also have a great resource of patterns too.

Another smart idea.
Tired of tripping over cords...Put a white picket fence around them! This one is from the creative mind of Karl Zahn for the 2006 MUJI International Design Competition.

New kits
This is just a sneak peak at one of the new cross stitch designs just about out for Christmas. More to follow as soon as I've moved house.
