Patchwork Collage
Just found this artwork I made 2 years ago in the mess that is my house at the moment. I think it may be worth framing.. Or maybe I should make more and turn them into gift cards? Or maybe give everyone a little collage artwork for Christmas... That's an idea... But I best keep cleaning and packing at the moment. Got to stay focused!!

Projects.
At the moment I am enjoying playing with collage. I used to work quite a bit in it in the past and I have a project in mind just now. This is a shot of it's early days. As it progresses I'll keep you posted.

Hamburger cross stitch
This is a little hamburger cross stitch I finished the other day. I'm not sure how to incorporate it yet. It's too big for a brooch (using the size I have available) and too small for a kit. I'm not sure what to add to it though... suggestions??

Because I thought this was funny
Unazukin are these little dolls that are really popular in Japan. They answer your questions...You have to check out the site. I like, want to collect them but then I'd have an army of cute but very very creepy dolls. I'm undecided.

Tea Cup Quilts
My Aunt just sent me an email with a photo of her new favourite quilting distraction - the quilted tea cup purse! Very cute. x
PS. If anyone wants one let me know and I'll arrange to pop a few in the Etsy Store.

New Sonia Rykiel
Although I spend too much time fawning over the the Sonia Rykiel clothing in Myer, I am yet to invest in a piece. Although if I had heaps of cash on hand and was feeling particularly sunny I'd flounce down to the shops in this little number.

Pincushion
This is my first little flower pin cushion I made the other day. I have to get better at my top stitching and general sewing in circles. But still it was a fair shot I think.

Vintage Buttons
I bought these vintage buttons on Ebay a little while ago. I got some great colours in my haul (a box full). I just can't bring myself to take them off the cards. What to do?

Illustration
I was cleaning out things yesterday and found my old illustrations of leaves. I did these (there are 3) a few years ago and they are quite big (A2). I was going to frame them but it would cost a fair penny because of their size. So they are now safely stored away till the time comes. Maybe I should do some smaller ones..I'll post the rest of my find in Flickr.

Jack Spade
I'm always looking around for cool guys clothing and I found these smart hats at Jack Spade. There are some great little short films etc on the site under the 'Happenings' heading too, which is the best bit of the site as the store is still under construction. But how cool are the hats!
