Today's Quilt tops from Ebay
So I've been contemplating making a quilt. For some reason I've never gotten around to it yet. But I just love looking at quilt tops on Ebay. Some of them are a bit naff, but there are some beauties like this one.

Many thanks...
The very lovely Melinda over at 66 Stitches gave Scot and I the most lovely ottoman as an engagement present. We love it! I especially love how it goes green at the base. Melinda has been on an excellent run recently with her ottomans make sure you head over to her Flickr to see more.

Last FM
I was told about Last FM by the lovely Melanie. Thought I would share it with you all as it's my new favourite internet attraction. Last FM is an online radio (kind of) site. You can log in and place the name of your favourite artist and it will play you tracks from similar artists (amongst its other attractions). Nothing like broadening your taste in music! Trust me, you'll become just as addicted as I have become in the past few hours.

Cat Cocoon
So I've been thinking about getting a cat for ages but I have currently reside in an apartment on the second floor. So I'd worry about my cat being up too high and all that jazz. But I do know that said cat would love this.... How cool would my future cat be? How empty would my wallet be?

In the making
Thnaks so much for all your wonderful comments about my brooches. It's always a challenge to come up with something new that I like to make as much as you like too.I'm a bit of a perfectionist at heart... At the moment I am working on some more lovely brooches to head off to other stores around Melbourne. It is my aim to have some for sale on Etsy pretty soon too. I will announce this on the blog as soon as I get my act into gear!

So excited!! i just found out about Retro Mummy via Kirin Note. Retro Mummy is the creation of Corrie, a Mum living in Sydney and she sells all the great Japanese craft goodies in Australian dollars via her site here. Thank goodness! Not having an easy line to all things great about Japanese craft was really upsetting me.. but now I have Retro Mummy!

Biscornu
Today I have been making a Biscornu. It's a little eight sided pin cushion. I found the pattern via Own Two Hands. The cross stitch element took a little bit of time but I'll finish it and post it later today.
